TheAdult Bible Study will start on Friday, September 9 at 10:30AM in the parlor. We will resume our study of the Evangelical Catechism. A contemporary catechism published in Germany for adults (We are using the American Edition so you don't have to know German!). This covers everything in the Christian life and is not Luther's Small Catechism. I also have a concise little book on the five major world religions that is very relevant to this time in our nation's history. I recently heard the author speak; he is Teaching Pastor at St John Luth . Church in Roanoke, VA. If you like lively discussion in a relaxed atmosphere, come and join in!

Trinity Choir: Our sanctuary choir sings God's praises every Sunday from September through the second Sunday in June. We also welcome other members and guests to sing with us on special Sundays. We hope that all of our musical offerings are inspiring to our congregation and especially pleasing to God. Cleva Collar is our Choir Director.

The Praise Team leads in singing many of the current praise and worship songs at the 9 AM Celebration Service. Anyone interested in joining the Praise Team should contact Barbara Bowser, Celebration Service Coordinator.

Trinity has been blessed to have a wonderful set of two plus octaves of Schulmerich Handbells, which are in very good condition. HOWEVER, these wonderful bells do not ring themselves. Most two octave music requires at least eight ringers. Ringers need to meet certain criteria such as: interest in praising the Lord with music (as ordered to do in Psalms), willingness to spend a couple of hours a month - at a time most convenient to all, be able to count to four (eight really helps), and other rather undemanding qualities. While our congregation enjoys bell music at any time, it is especially nice to offer this unique praise at times of festive church celebrations. If you have any interest in participating in the worship service this way, have a willing heart and can count to (at least) four, please share your interest with DorisAnne Shuey, Cleva Collar, Barbara Bowser or someone in the church office.

The Garden Group is part of the Property Committee. Over the past few years hostas have been donated and planted around the building. On Pentecost Sunday members contribute money toward red geraniums which are placed in the Chancel area on Pentecost Sunday. After Pentecost the flowers are planted in front of the building and at the back entrance.
